Bone and wood inlay frames are made by first designing a pattern, preparing the frame, carving pieces of bone (typically we use left over caraboa horn and bone) and wood (we use teakwood and sea hibiscus wood) into desired shapes, and then set them into the frame. We use resin to fill the gaps. Finally, we sand the surface to a smooth, polished Pasefika finish. \n\nPlease note that using raw materials such as bone and wood means there will be inevitable differences between each piece.
