These leis are made with 💯 Authentic Kukui Nuts. The Lei lengths are: Short Lei: 9” (18” tip to tip) Long Lei: 16” (32” tip to tip) All leis are clasped together with the traditional ribbon bow-tie in back. Since Kukui is a source of light, it has come to symbolize enlightenment, knowledge, and learning. The Kukui Nut tree was a symbol of enlightenment, protection, guidance and peace, and its spiritual powers are still believed to flow through Hawaiian culture.
