Polynesian Wood Inlay Picture Frame, Teak and Hibiscus, 5x7

It is made with Wood and Resin. Bone and wood inlay frames are made by first designing a pattern, preparing the frame, carving pieces of bone (typically we use left over caraboa horn and bone) and wood (we use teakwood and sea hibiscus wood) into desired shapes, and then set them into the frame. We use resin to fill the gaps. Finally, we sand the surface to a smooth, polished Pasefika finish. This piece has no bone- it is wood with the coconut board backing. Please note that using raw materials such as bone and wood means there will be inevitable differences between each piece. All you need to do is send us a message and we will send you photos of the exact piece you will be receiving!!! That way we’re good all around!
