The “Never Give Up” Polynesian Handcrafted Korus- Polynesian Fern- Adjustable Necklace

The necklaces are an adjustable surfer cord so it goes from 12” - 24” in length- wear it surfer or boho style! 😜🤙🏼 As seen in the photos, the pendants are about 1.5” x 1.5”. These are inexpensive pieces, often purchased for children due to the durability over that of solid bone. The materials used in these pieces are Buffalo Bone Powder and Resin mixed. The koru (Māori for ‘”loop or coil”’) is a spiral shape based on the appearance of a new unfurling silver fern frond. It is an integral symbol in Māori art, carving and tattooing, where it symbolizes new life, growth, strength and peace. Its shape “conveys the idea of perpetual movement,” while the inner coil “suggests returning to the point of origin”.
